KAISO Masayoshi Kori Hisataka, ( Seiki Kudaka in Okinawan ) is the founder of Shorinjiryu Kenkokan Karate. After his retirement in the early 1980's, the succession went to his son, Masayuki Kukan Hisataka. When this happened a number of the Shorinjiryu dojo in Canada and the United States of America separated from the Shorinjiryu Kenkokan organization to create their own organizations. Sensei Throop's Bu Yu Kan Martial Arts Studio traces it's lineage back to the founder, KAISO Masayoshi Kori Hisataka.
